Therefore, all shipments of chemicals and fluids are subject to special packaging, labeling, controls, or restrictions depending on the chemical content and quantities. The Hazardous Code Key identifies the shipping methods allowed and the additional handling charges that apply. These charges are in addition to the UPS freight charge and are subject to change. Multiple boxes may be required based on size, weight, and chemical content restrictions. All small package shipments containing Chemicals and Fluids with a Hazardous Code must be shipped via UPS prepaid and add, Collect or 3rd Party.
